Subjects Arrested for a Residential Burglary in Early Morning Hours

On February 1, at approximately 1:06 am, Ripon Patrol Officer’s responded to a burglary in progress in the 700 block of Mulholland Dr.  The caller reported that two subjects were taking items from a garage and were placing them into a 1999 Ford F250.
 
Officers arrived on scene and quickly located a female sitting in the driver seat of the vehicle parked in front of the victim’s residence.  In addition, Officers observed the garage was open and there were several items located in the bed of the vehicle, determined to be stolen from the garage.  A garage door remote was stolen from the victim’s vehicle that was parked in the driveway believed to be used to access the garage.
 
Officers canvassed the area and located two additional male subjects nearby, who were identified by a witness as being involved.  After a thorough investigation, all three subjects were taken into custody.
 
23 stolen items, totaling over $2,500.00, were recovered from the Ford F250.
 
James Lazetera (29 yrs. of Stockton) was arrested and booked into the San Joaquin County Jail for Residential Burglary, Conspiracy to Commit a Crime, and Theft from a Vehicle.
 
Johnathan King (22 yrs. of Stockton) was arrested and booked into the San Joaquin County Jail for Residential Burglary, Conspiracy to Commit a Crime, Theft from a Vehicle and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
 
May Ortiz (29 yrs. of Stockton) was arrested and booked into the San Joaquin County Jail for Residential Burglary, Conspiracy to Commit a Crime, Theft from a Vehicle and four Misdemeanor Warrants.
