Car Burglary and Credit Card/I.D. Theft - Poway
Investigators from the Poway Sheriff's Station want your help in identifying and locating a man wanted in connection with a car burglary and credit card & identity theft.
On January 1st around 9:15 p.m., someone stole a backpack from a car that was parked in front of a home in the 12900 block of Rios Road. The backpack contained a wallet, an Apple laptop and a Google cell phone which was later recovered by Sheriff's Deputies on a nearby street.
At around 11:00 p.m., two of the victim's stolen credit cards were used at a Circle K/Mobile gas station located in the 14000 block of Pomerado Road by an unknown male suspect. He was driving a newer model blue Chevrolet sedan with unknown plates (seen in the attached photos).
The suspect is described a white male who was wearing glasses, a dark colored Nike polo short and light blue jeans.
