As of, February 6th, 2018 the East Side Sewer Relief Project on Whitman Boulevard has progressed to the addresses of 222-223 Whitman Boulevard. All addresses higher than 223 Whitman Boulevard, traffic will need to access from the east using Abbe Road. All addresses lower than 222 Whitman Boulevard, traffic will need to access from the west using Gulf Road. There is no pass through for any vehicle at this location of the project.
The excavation has progressed to the intersection of Whitman Boulevard and Belmar Court. For now, Belmar Court needs to be accessed only from the east. The contractor will keep this intersection open as they work their way east on Whitman Boulevard. Expect delays getting into and out of Belmar Court. An update will be sent when the contractor progresses to the point where Belmar Court traffic needs to access from the west.
Watch out for slow-moving heavy construction vehicles that operate on Gulf Road between the Waste Water Plant and Whitman Boulevard.
