The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for areas of Northern Indiana including Marshall County, which goes into effect beginning late Thursday night (2/8/2018) through Friday evening (2/9/2018).
* WHAT... Heavy snow Friday, new snow
accumulations of 5 to 9 inches are possible.
* WHERE...Starke, Marshall and Kosciusko Counties.
* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 8 AM EST this
morning. For the Winter Storm Watch, from late Thursday night
through Friday evening.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions, including
during the morning and afternoon commutes. Be prepared for
reduced visibility at times. Plan on difficult travel
conditions, including during the morning and afternoon commutes
on Friday. Significant reductions in visibility are possible.
