(Etowah County, Alabama) A Glencoe woman has been arrested in connection to theft of property, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.

“Brittany Ryane Jeter, 28, of Glencoe, is charged with one count of third degree theft of property and one count of breaking/entering a vehicle,” investigator Adam Chapman said.

Jeter admitted to stealing a waitress’s tip book and purse from a local restaurant. The tip book had approximately $40 cash. An empty purse and wallet, belonging to the victim, was recovered from a residence on Ralph Street, Glencoe.

Jeter is detained in the Etowah County Detention Center without bond. She was out on bond and being monitored by Community Corrections for a previous burglary and theft when this incident occurred.
