The U.S. National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter storm warning for our area. 6" to 9" inches of snow is expected between 3AM and Midnight on Friday February 9th.
The long duration and high volume of this storm will make plowing challenging.
The Department of Public Works is requesting residents move their vehicles out of the road. This will make it much easier for our crews to clear the streets.
DPW would also like to remind residents it is a violation of Michigan Motor Vehicle Code to place snow from private driveways in the public street. Shovel or blow your snow onto your yard or lawn extension.
