Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to identify an individual who stole several pieces of jewelry, from Zales, located at  1414 Fording Island Road, Bluffton, SC on 2-7-18 at 1837 hours. The suspect came into the store asking to see necklaces. After inquiring on weight and value of an initial piece, it was laid down by the clerk. The suspect then asked to see a different set. Once the clerk pulled the second set out of the case, the suspect grabbed both pieces, running out the back door, yelling “Thank You.” The suspect pushed the door with such force, it was torn from the hinges. The jewelry is described as a 14k yellow gold necklace/bracelet set and a 7mm, 14k yellow curb gold necklace.
