Tomorrow, February 9th between 9:30-12:00, Montclair HS students and staff in conjunction with Montclair public safety personnel and other local public safety agencies will be conducting a “live action” active shooter training exercise and drill on the Montclair High School campus. During the event, live explosions and simulated gunfire will be utilized to enhance the exercise experience. There will be public safety vehicles and personnel throughout the campus as well as around the campus perimeter. During the drill, the campus will be locked down and secure by school and public safety personnel. Public address announcements will be made prior to the start of the drill.

If you believe an incident is occurring at or near the school during this time period, contact MPD dispatch at 909-621-4771, or call 911. MPD personnel will evaluate if the call is related to the drill or if an officer will be dispatched to investigate.
