South Londonderry Township Police responded to a reported robbery in progress at Dollar Tree, 109 Northside Drive, Palmyra at approximately 9:10 a.m. on this date. The suspect then stole a vehicle parked in front of Jonestown, Bank, & Trust. A suspect, believed to be the only person involved, was taken into custody without incident at about 10:30 a.m. Nobody at the store or bank was injured.
More details of the investigation and identity of the accused actor will be released via the Department's social media accounts and local news outlets at a later date.
South Londonderry Police were assisted by Palmyra Borough Police, North Londonderry Twp. Police, South Annville Police, Annville Township Police, and Cleona Borough Police.
