2/07 – 7:35 p.m. - A Millstadt Officer stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of South Jefferson, for multiple traffic violations. The driver was found to be driving while revoked. Upon further investigation, suspected methamphetamine and brass knuckles were discovered. The subject is a convicted felon and has previous convictions for driving revoked. On February 9th the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office charged the suspect, Bobby R. Jeter age 44 of Mulkeytown, Illinois, with the following:
Count 1: Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine – A Class 3 Felony
Count 2: Unlawful Possession of Weapon by Felon – A Class 3 Felony
Count 3 – Driving While Driver’s License is Revoked – Subsequent – A Class 4 Felony
His bond was set at $50,000.
