Speedway Robbery Suspects Apprehended 
On 01/21/2018 at 12:30pm, two individuals entered the Speedway Gas Station at 7211 Madison Avenue in Southport. After indicating to the clerk that they had a firearm, they took cash and store merchandise.
They then fled the area.
Both individuals have been identified and taken into custody. April Hawkins and Gene Hawkins (April’s father) are currently being held on $60,000 bond for Robbery, a level 5 felony.
