Full Notification

This evening at approximately 9:11 pm, the Emeryville Police Department received a 911 call of a person down on the ground, bleeding, on 59th St. near Horton St. Officers arrived and discovered the victim, a 26-year-old male, had been shot and was unconscious. Paramedics arrived and immediately transported the victim to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. The suspect fled the scene on foot immediately following the shooting and has not been located.

Anyone who was in the area of 59th St and Horton St. this evening and observed any suspicious individuals are encouraged to call the Emeryville Police Department at (510) 596-3700. You may have information to help identify the individual involved in this tragic crime.
