***UPDATE*** POMONA HOMICIDE SUSPECT ARRESTED
SUSPECT: Jonathan Marsh, 54 years old, Pomona Resident
Since January 25, 2018, Pomona Police Department’s Homicide Detectives had been diligently investigating the Murder of Matthew Musick that occurred at 160 W. Willow. Investigators had received several tips and discovered information over the last month leading to a person of interest.
On 2/9/18 at approximately 8:30 pm, Pomona Police Patrol Officers located this person of interest. During their interview of this subject, Homicide Detectives were able to get enough information to arrest this subject for the murder of Matthew Musick.
Suspect Jonathan Marsh was arrested and transported to the Pomona City Jail where he was booked for 187 PC- Murder. Today, Murder charges were filed with the LA County District Attorney’s office and the bail was set at 2.5 million dollars. Suspect Jonathan Marsh is potentially facing over 70 years to life in prison if convicted.

NARRATIVE:
On 1/25/18 at approximately 11:52 am, Pomona Police Department received a radio call of a stabbing victim in the rear parking lot of 160 W. Willow St. Officers arrived on scene and found a male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds to the chest area. LA County Fire Department arrived on scene and pronounced the victim. Officers received information that the suspect (male- white, no further description) was last seen fleeing the area on a bicycle. Responding officers and Detectives conducted an area check for the suspect, but were unable to locate any suspect at this time. Homicide Detectives were called out to investigate this homicide. Homicide Detectives are actively working leads and information related to this incident.
