01/22/18 WTPD arrested John Hermes, age 32, of Port Murray, NJ for an $800.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Township. He was processed and released with a new court date.

01/25/18 WTPD arrested Charles Pickett, age 27, of Washington, NJ for being an NCIC wanted person out of the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office. On 01/25/18 at approximately 12:50 AM, patrol responded to a residence in the 20 block of State St. in Washington Borough to locate Mr. Pickett who was a wanted person. Upon the officer’s investigation Mr. Pickett was located and the warrant was confirmed. Mr. Pickett was taken into custody without incident, processed and lodged in the WC Jail.

01/25/18 WTPD arrested Daniel Godfrey, age 35, of Stewartsville, NJ for outstanding warrants totaling $2000.00 out of Washington and Raritan Townships. Mr. Godfrey was processed and turned over to Raritan Township PD.

01/25/18 WTPD arrested Leonardo Scarpulla, age 18, of Washington, NJ for a theft. On 01/25/18 at approximately 1:59 PM, patrol responded to Habitat for Humanity, 390 Rte. 57 W in Washington Township for a reported theft by an employee. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, Mr. Scarpulla, was arrested and charged with theft of $220.00 in cash. He was processed and released with a mandatory court date.

01/26/17 WTPD arrested Charles Pickett, age 27, of Washington, NJ for a $1000.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Borough. He was processed and released with a new court date.

01/26/18 WTPD arrested Douglas Decastro, age 52, of Washington, NJ for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. On 01/26/18 at approximately 5:07 PM, patrol responded to a residence in the 20 block of Mozart Ave in Washington Township for a subject calling 9-1-1 because he has no friends to hang out with and is lonely. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, Mr. Decastro was charged with a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. He was processed and released with a mandatory court date.

01/26/18 WTPD arrested Marcus Handelong, age 56, of Belvidere, NJ for disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. On 01/26/18 at approximately 7:06 PM, patrol responded to the Draught House, 268 Rte. 31 N. in Washington Township for the report of a disorderly customer. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, Mr. Handelong was arrested without incident and charged with disorderly conduct, criminal mischief a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. He was processed and released with a mandatory court date.

01/26/18 WTPD arrested Victor Rouse, age 48, of Bridgewater, NJ for disorderly conduct. He was processed and released with a mandatory court date.

01/27/18 WTPD arrested Robert Pucci, age 25, of Oxford, NJ for terroristic threats, contempt of court and harassment. He was processed and lodged in WC Jail.

01/30/18 WTPD arrested Adonis Silva, age 43, of Washington, NJ for terroristic threats. Mr. Silva was processed and turned over to Perth Amboy PD.

01/30/18 WTPD arrested William Brennan 3rd , of Franklin park, NJ for possession of (CDS) heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. On 01/30/18 at approximately 1:18 PM, patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop on Flower Ave in Washington Borough for an unclear license plate. The officer’s investigation resulted in Mr. Brennan’s arrest. He was processed and charged with possession of (CDS) heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Brennan was also issued motor vehicle summonses for an unclear license plate, a front view obstruction, operating a motor vehicle without insurance and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle. Mr. Brennan was lodged in the WC Jail.

02/02/18 WTPD arrested Cieara Landes, age 26, of Washington, NJ for outstanding warrants totaling $1000.00 out of Mansfield Township and Washington borough. On 02/02/18 at approximately 2:41 PM, patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop on Hillcrest Ave in Washington Borough for a suspended license. The officer’s investigation revealed that the operator, Landes, had outstanding warrants for her arrest. She was processed, issued motor vehicle summons for driving with a suspended license and released with new court date(s).

02/02/18 WTPD arrested Tyron Welch, age 24, of Blackwood, NJ for a $250.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Borough. He was processed and released with a new court date.

02/03/18 WTPD arrested Christopher Malkiewicz, age 37, of Hackettstown, NJ for possession of (CDS) crack cocaine, possession of (CDS) heroin, manufacture distribute (CDS) heroin/ cocaine, possession with intent to distribute in a school zone, possession of (CDS) less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic needle. On 02/03/18 at approximately 11:28 AM, patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle in the Mid-Town parking lot on E. Washington Ave in Washington Borough. The officer’s investigation revealed that the driver, Mr. Malkiewicz, was in possession of CDS. He was arrested and charged with possession of (CDS) crack cocaine, possession of (CDS) heroin, manufacture distribute (CDS) heroin/ cocaine, possession with intent to distribute in a school zone, possession of (CDS) less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic needle. He was also issued motor vehicle summonses for driving an unregistered motor vehicle and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle. He was processed and lodged in the WC Jail released with a mandatory court date.

02/04/18 WTPD arrested Richard Vannucci, age 52, of Hampton, NJ for simple assault, disorderly conduct, harassment and a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. He was processed and lodged in WC Jail.

02/04/18 WTPD arrested Taneah Wilson, age 41, of Washington, NJ for simple assault and harassment. She was processed and lodged in WC Jail.

02/04/18 WTPD arrested Carrol Carrubba, age 55, of Washington, NJ for simple assault. She was processed and released with a mandatory court date.

02/08/18 WTPD arrested Hindolo Massaquoi, age 36, of Stewartsville, NJ for a $500.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Borough. He was processed and released with a new court date.

02/09/18 WTPD arrested Neil Rush, age 37, of Broadway, NJ for a $500.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Borough. He was processed and released with a new court date.

02/11/18 WTPD arrested Brian Fitzharris, age 42, of Winfield, NJ for simple assault. He was processed and lodged in WC Jail.
