High Wind Warning Sun 6pm-3am Mon. Winds S 35-50 gusts to 80-90. Strongest winds 8pm-Midnight. 
The National Weather Service in Anchorage has issued a High Wind
Warning, which is in effect from 6 PM this evening to 3 AM HAST Monday.
* WIND...South wind 35 to 50 mph with gusts to 80 mph. Possible
gusts as high as 90 mph to the west of the Atka late this
evening.
* TIMING...After a brief lull in the winds this afternoon, south
winds are expected to increase again early this evening. The
strong winds are expected to occur to the west of Atka between
the hours of 8 pm and midnight, and then slowly diminish during
the early morning hours Monday.
* IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris and may damage
property.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A high wind warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring. People are urged to secure loose objects that could
be blown around or damaged by the wind.
