FLOOD WARNING: FLOODING IN LOWER AREAS NEAR THE RIVER RAISIN EXPECTED THURSDAY MORNING
The National Weather Service is predicting that the River Raisin will reach Flood Stage in the Village of Blissfield on Thursday, February 22, 2018, around 7 a.m. Flooding is expected to peak on Friday, February 23, 2018 at approximately 1 pm. Flood stage is 683 feet above sea level. Maximum flooding is expected to reach 684.4 feet above sea level. Expect flooding in the low-lying areas near the river. At this time, flooding is not expected to interfere with vehicular traffic. Ellis and Bachmayer Parks may be partially or fully closed depending on the extent of flooding.
