A Warning Level Travel Advisory has been implemented for all of Marshall County, Warning means REFRAIN FROM ALL TRAVEL
A "Warning" Level Travel Advisory has been implemented for all of Marshall County. County offices also closed today
The Marshall County Board of Commissioners have implemented a "Warning" level travel advisory for Marshall County, due to roads that have been washed out by the heavy rain and flooding. The declaration is only for roads in the unincorporated areas of the county. Highways, such as U.S. 30 and U.S. 31 and streets located within city and town limits are NOT included in the travel restriction.
A "Warning" level travel advisory is the highest level of local travel restriction and means that travel may be restricted to emergency management workers only. During a "Warning" local travel advisory, individuals are directed to:
A - refrain from all travel;
B - comply with necessary emergency measures;
C - cooperate with public officials and disaster services forces in executing emergency operations plans; and
D - obey and comply with the lawful directions of properly identified officers.
The Marshall County Court House and Marshall County Building are both closed today.
We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as soon as possible.
Thank you for your cooperation.
