Modesto CA: Two Vehicle Collision in Northeast Modesto Leaves Modesto Man Deceased
On Tuesday February 20th, 2018 at approximately 3:50 PM, two vehicles collided on East Briggsmore Ave near Held Dr. Emergency crews arrived on scene and began treating all parties and passengers. 91 year old Modesto resident Lloyd Kendrick was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The involved vehicles were an early 2000’s Ford Escape, driven by 52 year old Lisa Willis of Modesto, and an early 1990’s Saturn sedan, driven by Mr. Kendrick.
The events leading up to the collision are currently being investigated. As a standard procedure, a comprehensive collision investigation has begun and is in the early stages. The cause of this collision has yet to be determined. Evidence still needs to be examined, and additional witnesses are being sought. At this time, neither drug or alcohol impairment appear to be a factor in the collision.
