The last two nights Whitefish Bay has experienced thieves going through neighborhoods entering unlocked vehicles and taking property. These actors have been observed on surveillance video bypassing locked vehicles and only entering unlocked vehicles. Please report suspicious subjects in neighborhoods by calling 911.

Also do not leave your vehicle running unattended with the keys in the ignition, or the key fob inside the vehicle. We recently had 7 vehicles stolen in Whitefish Bay during early morning hours that were left running unattended while warming up.

By taking these reasonable steps you can greatly reduce the likelihood you will be a victim of these property crimes.
