Woodway Police arrest 43 year old man for Solicitation of a Minor after he arranges to meet 16 year old for sex.

On Thursday, February 22nd, Woodway Police arrested 43 year old Kevin James Dudik of West for the offense of Online Solicitation of a Minor with the intent to have sexual contact, a 2nd degree felony. Earlier in the week, Mr. Dudik initiated a conversation on a social media account to whom he believed belonged to a 16 year old female. The account turned out to be an undercover officer. Mr. Dudik was made aware of the female’s age and acknowledged it could get him in trouble.
Mr. Dudik exchanged several messages which were sexually explicit in nature and requested pictures of the minor before asking to meet at a location in Woodway. Officers stopped Mr. Dudik when he arrived at the agreed location and he was arrested without incident. He faced additional charges of Possession of Marijuana Under Two Ounces and Driving While License Invalid, both class B misdemeanors. Mr. Dudik also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for Failure to Pay Child Support. He was booked into the McLennan County Jail.
