New road project starting February 26th on McCartney Road from Interstate 10 Highway to Overfield Road. Improvements will consist of replacing dips with culverts and adding in turn lanes.
The project will involve three phases (tentative schedule):
• February 26th to May work will be from Bel Air Road to Azurite Way. Detour will include Cox Road to Woodruff Road and down Overfield Road.
• May through July work will include Weaver Road.
• July through August portion of the work is slated to be complete. Work should no longer involve a detour, but may have lane restrictions to avoid ongoing construction.
