Alexandria Community Center is now OPEN as a RED CROSS shelter for victims of flooding.
In cooperation with Campbell County Emergency Management and at their request, the RED CROSS and the City have opened our Community Center as a 24 hour Emergency Shelter for ANYONE who has been displaced by flooding.
Food, cots for sleeping, showers, games & movies for children as well as a place to charge medical equipment or any other needs you might have are available.
No advanced notice is required. If you need shelter come on up and we will take care of you. You do NOT have to be from Alexandria or Campbell County to use us. Please, come if needed.
