Project Lifesaver information and demonstration seminar. Tuesday March 20, 2018 at 7pm Waverly Police Dept Classroom.
The Waverly Police Dept will be hosting an informational and demonstration on the Project Lifesaver Program for Pike County residents. The seminar will take place Tuesday March 20, 2018 starting at 7PM at the Waverly Police Dept Classroom, 202 South Market Street Waverly, Ohio 45690.
The project is designed for individuals with Autism, Alzheimer's, or other cognitive impairments who may have the tendency to wander from home or their surroundings.
We will go over a brief overview of the programs history and how it works, followed by a demonstration. We will have a person take a transmitter outside and hide it, then we will show you how we track the device.
Project Lifesaver is wristband technology that can be worn by individuals who have the tendency to wander. The device emits a signal that members of the search team can track in the event the individual ever wanders off and gets lost. Join us for this special event to learn more about this lifesaving technology.
If you would like more information but can not attend the seminar you can contact Jared Roe, Project Lifesaver Coordinator at (740) 947-2179 or via email at [email protected]
We look forward to seeing you there!
