#LASD Cerritos High School Student Arrested After Threatening Social Media Post Discovered

NARRATIVE: A Gahr High School student was arrested by Cerritos Station deputies on Friday, February 23, 2018, on suspicion of using social media to make violent threats against the school.
The arrest of the 15-year-old girl followed an investigation which began after students alerted school officials of the threatening social media post. The post contained a text threatening violence at the school.
The 15-year-old subject was booked at Cerritos Sheriff’s Station.
