New Jersey Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission completes on-site assessment of the Deal Police Department.
This past Sunday, Chief Ronen Neuman of the Deal Police Department welcomed a team of assessors from the New Jersey Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission (NJLEAC) to the Borough of Deal Police Department. The NJLEAC is commissioned by the New Jersey State Association of the Chiefs of Police (NJSACOP).
Assessors from the NJLEAC examined all aspects of the Deal Police Department. The examination included agency’s policy and procedures, management, operations, and support services. The assessment team also reviewed written materials, interviewed individuals, and visited assets and locations where compliance can be witnessed. The department voluntary initiated this process to gain re-accreditation recognition, a highly esteemed recognition of law enforcement professional distinction.
The Deal Police Department Accreditation Team will now go in front of the State Accreditation Commission and await their final decision on The Deal Police Departments Re-Accreditation Status.
