Little Egg Harbor Blue HART (Heroin Addiction Recovery & Treatment) is a free program available to the public every Tuesday in Little Egg Harbor Township. Those fighting addiction can visit the Little Egg Harbor Township Police Department on Tuesdays to seek immediate critical help in fighting drug addiction.
Little Egg Harbor PD will join the initiative by collaborating with Ocean Mental Health in Manahawkin, and will allow substance abusers to go to those addiction services providers for treatment evaluation.

Any person who voluntarily goes to the Little Egg Harbor Township police department and asks for help with addiction to heroin or opiates or any substance will be immediately screened for potential participation in Blue HART. Any person, regardless of where he/she resides can come to the Little Egg Harbor Township Police Department on Tuesdays to participate in Blue HART.

To utilize the services of Blue HART:
• Come to the lobby of Little Egg Harbor Township PD on any Tuesday between the hours of 9am-5pm
• No appointment is necessary
• Bring minimal personal property
