* At 1249 PM CST, emergency management reported flooding across
portions of northern Alabama mainly on roads near area rivers and
streams. An additional quarter of an inch of rain is possible
through this evening. This will result in continued flooding of
many low lying areas and many roads.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Huntsville, Decatur, Madison, Athens, Scottsboro, Hartselle, Fort
Payne, Muscle Shoals, Russellville and Sheffield.
Instructions:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
