The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning and Coastal Flood Warning as of March 1, 2018.
Corbin City Office of Emergency Management would like all Corbin City residents to be aware that The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning and Coastal Flood Warning for our area as of March 1, 2018.
This Nor-Easter event will be in area starting this evening thru Friday and remnants will carry over until Saturday. Residents along the Tuckahoe a River should monitor river levels as tides will ride higher than normal on Saturday morning and Saturday Evening.
Rain prediction is for 1 to 2 inches of rain and wind gusts of 50 to 60 miles per hour. Residents are urged to secure items that could be thrown around by the wind. Power outages are possible through this period. Have a flashlight, battery operated radio available and remember to charge your cell phones.
