We Just completed this afternoon’s conference call. JCP&L is continuing to make repairs. Total outages in Hunterdon County is down to 16,880 from 30,000 yesterday. JCP&L has not updated their estimated time of restoral. The County website .co.hunterdon.nj.us has a page dedicated to the County’s actions and services available to the public.
On the local side of the incident, a large transmission wire was reconnected this afternoon on the Rocktown Lambertville Road. Restoring power to about 400 homes. Mayor Bergenfeld has been in contact with representatives of JCP&L, and has expressed his concerns regarding the slow restoration. JCP&L has indicated that a tree crew should be in the Township by this evening.
The following roads are still affected by trees and wires:
Alexauken Creek Road, near Hamp Road
Rock Road West Near Corsallo Road
Mill Road (about in the middle)
Weeden Street.
