Hope Mills Police arrest robbery suspect
On Friday March 2, 2018 at approximately 2:06 pm, Hope Mills Police Officers responded to Clinic Pharmacy located at 3735 South Main Street, in response to a robbery with a dangerous weapon that had just occurred.
Responding Officers made contact with the victim at the pharmacy who stated that a w/m had entered the business and after what appeared to be browsing for a period of time, pulled out a handgun and demanded narcotics.
The suspect departed the victim business with stolen medication and left the area in a Dodge Durango SUV.
A short time later, the suspect vehicle was located by a Hope Mills Officer on Main Street in front of Village Shopping Center, at which time the Officer, with the assistance of a Cumberland County Sherriff Office Deputy effected a vehicle stop on North Main Street in front of Advance Auto.
The suspect, identified as Allan Ray Noel II, w/m, 50 yoa, with a listed address in the 700 block of Burgoyne Drive, Fayetteville, was taken into custody at the scene without incident.
The suspect was transported to the Cumberland County Detention Center and charged with the following offenses:
1 count Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon
1 count 2nd Degree Kidnapping
1 count Trafficking Opium
