(Etowah County, Alabama) A Gadsden man has been arrested in connection to receiving stolen property, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.

“Marcus Blake Parker, 22, of Gadsden, is charged with one count of first degree receiving stolen property, a felony, and attempting to elude, a misdemeanor,” Lieutenant Robin Grant said.

Parker was in possession of a stolen, 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe. The vehicle had been stolen from a residence in Gadsden. Deputies Dwight Fuller, Eric Johns and Jack Beasley assisted in recovering the stolen vehicle.

Parker is currently detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on $6,500.
