Credit Card & Identity Theft - Poway
Investigators from the Poway Sheriff's Station want your help in identifying and locating a woman suspected of using stolen credit/debit cards to make more than $6,000 in fraudulent purchases.
It all started around 11:30 a.m. on January 14, 2018 at Vons located in the 13000 block of Poway Road. The suspect stole a wallet from a woman who was shopping at the store.
Within the hour, the suspect used four of the victim's credit/debit cards to buy Visa gift cards and other items worth more than $6,300 at the Target store in Poway and two Rite Aid stores in the City of San Diego.
Take a look at these surveillance photos of the suspect. She's described as a black woman between 20 and 30 years old with a thin build and dark hair in a ponytail. The suspect was wearing a black/white jacket with the word "Pink" on the front, blue denim jeans and black shoes.
