Metter Middle School student arrested for Terroristic Threats 
The Candler County Sheriff’s Office was notified this morning that a Metter Middle School student had made threats to harm other students. Our school resource deputy took swift action and opened an investigation. Pursuant to that investigation, the 13 year old male student was arrested. He is charged with several felony counts of terroristic threats.
Our Office takes all threats seriously. Will take appropriate action. We sincerely appreciate those who reported this activity. We remind everyone to report any suspicious activity, “Say Something.”
