Overnight street parking is suspended

The Overnight street parking privilege is suspended for the next 24 hours due to the impending snow storm. This is to allow the DPW to effectively plow the streets and safely remove snow and ice. Officers will be heavily enforcing the emergency no parking ordinance and any vehicles found to be in violation will be ticketed or towed if necessary. At this moment, the Governor has officially imposed a state of emergency, to take effect at 8pm tonight. Heavy snow is expected with accumulations of 7-14 inches across Bergen County. Travel for Wednesday is expected to be extremely hazardous or impossible with significant reductions in visibility. Please do not attempt to venture out on the roads unless it is absolutely necessary. If you must travel, be sure to keep food, water, blankets, and a flashlight in your vehicle, along with a fully charged cell phone to call for help. Stay Safe and Warm!
