On street parking is prohibited on all streets so public works can clear roadways of snow. Heaviest snowfall is expected to begin after 10am. Rate of snowfall this afternoon is expected to make travel dangerous or impossible. All NJ State and Essex County government offices are closed today. Report any downed utility wires. Do not approach or drive around downed trees or wires.
