Director Yates in consultation with the Mayor and Chief of Police has declared a limited State of Emergency. It is strongly suggested that all travel be limited to essential services. Plows are on the road and are well aware of the hazardous conditions.
Roads are horrible. Patrols are reporting unsafe travel conditions with a sub layer of ice bellow the snow layer. Reports are starting to come in with trees across the roadway. As the heavy snow continues to fall, trees will start breaking.
Please stay warm and safe if possible. And keep your furry friends close.
