Thursday 3/8 13:00 Update
Sorry for the lateness of this update. I have had the pleasure of meeting some of you while I have been doing my Township wide survey today.
We have been attempting to obtain a repair status from JCP&L with little to no success. Mayor Bergenfeld has been in contact with representatives of JCP&L,and has been frustrated in his efforts to find answers. During my survey today, I have not seen a single JCP&L Truck.
What we do know is that JCP&L is showing outages in the Lakeview / Corsalo Road Area, and in the Rocktown area. Roughly 20% of the Township is without power.
All Township roads have been plowed, and cleared with the exception of roads with trees / wires. The following is the current road status in West Amwell:
Rocktown Hill Road. Closed between Route 31 & Gulick Road.
Tree across the road, in to power wires
Rock Road West, Near Lakeview,
Tree across the road, with primary wires down in the street.
Rocktown Lambertville Road
is now passable, however there are primary wires down
on the side of the road in the area of Rocktown Hill Road .
George Washington Road, near # 12,
Low hanging tree, in to wires. Passable with a small
vehicle.
Wooden’s Lane is now open.
