Full Notification

The owner or owners, tenant or tenants of any land abutting upon the public streets, avenues and highways of the Borough shall remove all snow and ice from the abutting sidewalks of such public streets, avenues and highways within 12 hours of daylight after the same shall fall or be formed thereon, or such longer period as shall be fixed by the Mayor or Borough Administrator in the event of emergency.

Properties within the Borough that are presently identified as having walkways which must be cleared of snow and ice are as follows:
Forest Way - All those located on the northerly side from Roseland Avenue to Hathaway Lane
Oak Lane - All those located on the northerly side from Roseland Avenue to Wootton Road
Park Lane/Hilltop Way - All those located on the southerly side from Roseland Avenue to Essex Road
Roseland Avenue - On the westerly side from address number 185 through number 341. On the easterly side from address number 186 through number 304
Runnymede Road - All those located on the northerly side from Roseland Avenue to Wootton Road and number 307 on the southerly side

Properties on Roseland Avenue who have fallen trees blocking their walks should contact Borough Hall to receive approval to delay snow removal until their walks can be cleared.
