Warming, Charging Centers and Bathrooms: Like all storms with outages, the police department (83 E. Allendale Road) lobby is open as a warming and charging center. Our police officers and dispatchers are happy to assist all of our residents in this area so please do not hesitate to stop by any time. It is staffed 24/7. The Borough hall will also be open (100 E. Allendale Road) for the same purpose.

Government Affairs: Mayor Kurpis has been in constant contact with representatives from the federal, state and county government since the start of the storm. He has also spoken with both power companies multiple times per day to advocate for the residents of Saddle River. He receives regular updates from the Saddle River Police and Fire Department on their progress.

Outage Updates: As of this message, March 10th at 11:45 there are still 20,407 homes without power in O&R (6,584) and PSE&G (13,823) territory. There are currently about 460 homes without power in SR. Over 90% of those outages are occurring in two parts of the borough near Locust Lane and Chestnut Ridge/East Allendale Road. O&R is announcing that most of those, along with the other scattered outages, should return by 11:59 Sunday evening. Both major incidents are being reported as tree incidents which require the power company to de-energize those lines, untangle them, and then cut/remove the trees before restoration. We understand the difficulty this situation has caused and appreciate your continued patience and understanding as the Borough representatives are doing everything they can to assist in this matter.

BOROUGH HALL WILL BE OPEN 24 HOURS A DAY UNTIL THIS IS RESOLVED. this can be used as a Warming Station, Charging Station, and Water Supply station.

Government Officials will be meeting with today with various representatives to expedite the necessary repairs.
