Dear Wyckoff Resident,

Power was restored today to additional streets but about 600 Orange and Rockland (O&R) customers remain without power. O&R reported this afternoon that out-of-state crews would be in the area Sunday to assist with power restoration.

Wyckoff officials met with a representative of Governor Murphy’s office this afternoon to request assistance in bringing additional resources to our town to remove trees and branches in wires and repair electrical service.

The Wyckoff DPW is working through the weekend to remove tree limbs and branches impeding roadways.

DO NOT GO NEAR DOWNED WIRES AND BE AWARE THEY MAY BE BURIED UNDER SNOW

Township officials have opened the following warming/cell phone charging centers:

Sunday, March 11
1. Christian Health Care Center, Theresa Bushman drive off of Mountain Ave., Commons Building first parking area on left
2. Wyckoff Family YMCA, 691 Wyckoff Avenue (shower facilities available at this location 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.)

Hours at each center are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days. Both centers will also be open on Monday, March 12 if needed.

Please do not call the police department to report an outage. If you are an Orange & Rockland customer without power and have not yet contacted them, please call them at 1-877-434-4100.
