R.A.D. for Women Classes

R.A.D. for Women is a basic physical defense program whose primary focus is the realistic development of self-defense options for women before and during situations of imminent or actual attack/assault. By bringing together the elements of education, dependency on self, responsibilities in decision making and realization of physical power, this training is a means to empower the women who receive it.

The class will include components from RAD Advanced Defense which builds on the techniques and strategies from the basic portion of the class. The adding of RAD Advanced Components takes our program to a new level by incorporating more prone defense strategies and multiple subject encounters.

Class dates:
Week 1 - April 2nd, or 4th
Week 2 - April 9th, or 11th
Week 3 - April 16th, or 18th
Week 4 - April 23rd, or 25th
Week 5 - April 30th, or May 2nd

All classes run 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM.

For Weeks 1 through 4, the same class is offered twice each week so attendance is required for only one of the dates listed.

For Week 5, the date will be either April 30th or May 2nd.

Total number of classes is 5.

Cost for the program is $25.00.

All classes will be held at Camp Shand, 20 Penryn Lane, Lebanon, PA 17042. Some may know this location better as Camp Kiwanis, with the driveway located along SR 322 across from the ramp for Iron Valley Golf Course, Iron Valley Tubing, and Minersvillage.

To reserve a spot in this class contact Officer James Conklin at 717-274-2071 or email him at: [email protected]

Class size is limited.
