A single vehicle accident at the intersection of Folsom Auburn Road and Greenback Lane has knocked out traffic signals at that intersection. The collision also ruptured a fire hydrant, which is now under control. Drivers are advised to avoid the area for the next 2 hours while repairs are made.
The signal lights were not functioning right after the accident. Drivers are reminded that California law requires drivers to treat non-functioning lights as an all-way stop sign.
