Breezing winds, 15-25 mph sustained, low relative humidity, 15 to 25 percent, and dry fuels result in very high to extreme wildfire danger today. A Red Flag Warning has been issued from noon through 7pm for most of western Missouri and almost all of eastern Kansas. A Special Weather Statement has also been issued through central Missouri highlighting very high fire danger as well for this area during the same time frame.
