Burglary/Theft of Property Arrest
(Etowah County, Alabama) An Etowah County woman has been arrested in connection to burglary and theft of property, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Kelli Lynn Wyatt, 37, of Gadsden, is charged with one count of third degree burglary, a felony, one count of fourth degree theft of property, a misdemeanor, public intoxication and a failure to appear for unlawful possession of a controlled substance,” Captain Jason Argo said.
Wyatt broke into a building at the Owls Hollow Skeet Club on Saturday, March 10th. She startled a board member when he approached the building causing him to run back to his truck. Wyatt chased after the individual, jumping into the back of the truck yelling at the driver.
The driver called 9-1-1 and met deputies at a store on the Old Highway 411. Wyatt was then apprehended from the back of the truck without further incident.
Wyatt is being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on $3,600 bond.
