Enhanced Traffic Enforcement Areas Next Week and Emergency Township Brush Collection
South Brunswick Police will provide the public with notice of areas in the Township where there will be increased traffic enforcement.
While enforcement efforts take place throughout the township, these areas will receive additional focus.
Enhanced Traffic Enforcement Areas Next Week:
Location: Ridge Road between Route 130/Georges Road
Issue: Overweight Trucks
Location: Wawa – Route 535
Issue: Improper left turns, trucks improper parking
Location: Route 1 Shoulder Use
Issue: Shoulder usage before and after posted hours of operation
Emergency Township Brush Collection Monday March 19th
Due to the recent Nor’easters there will be a special curbside brush collection. It is essential that materials be prepared as instructed or they will not be picked up. Brush must be no more than 4 feet in length and stacked neatly at the curt but NOT in the street.
All brush must be curbside by 6:30am on Monday March 19, 2018 in order to receive collection.
- Branches must be no longer that four feet in length and stacked neatly at the curb.
- Branches cannot be put in roadway as not to cause traffic or maintenance problems.
Residents missing this curbside collection deadline MUST recycle brush by delivering it to the Township’s Brush Drop Off Area behind Sondek Park, Monday through Saturday 8:30am to 3:00pm.
Brush is mandated for recycling by Middlesex County and therefore will NOT be collected with the garbage.
