...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 AM EDT
THURSDAY...
* WHAT...Mixed precipitation to heavy snow. Additional snow
accumulations of 4 to 10 inches, and ice accumulations of a
light glaze are expected.
* WHERE...Portions of southern New Jersey, northeast Maryland
and central Delaware.
* WHEN...Until 2 AM EDT Thursday. A wintry mix is expected to
change to snow later this morning and afternoon from west to
east. The snow will become heavy at times with rates of 1 to 2
inches per hour this afternoon and early this evening. The snow
will then taper off later this evening.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel will be very difficult to
impossible, especially during this evenings commute. Be prepared
for significant reductions in visibility at times. Once snowfall
rates reach or exceed one inch per hour, it becomes difficult

may fall due to northeast winds gusting to 30 to 40 mph,
potentially leading to power outages. Unnecessary travel is not
