Advisory

WINTER STORM WATCH

National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for Pulaski County, including cities of Winamac, Francesville, and Medaryville, from late Friday night thru Saturday afternoon.

Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 3-7 inches are possible. The highest amounts would likely occur over southern White, Cass, and Miami counties.

Plan on difficult travel conditions, especially from near Remington to Monticello to Logansport to Marion and areas south where it appears that the heaviest snow amounts will occur. Significant reduction in visibility are possible. This will be a heavy wet snow that will be difficult to shovel and could pose a risk for those with health problems.

A Winter Storm Watch means there is potential for significant snow, sleet, or ice accumulations that may affect travel. Continue to monitor the latest forecasts.
