On Monday, March 26th and Tuesday March 27th, 2018 from 7:00am until 6:00pm the eastbound lanes of Cleveland Street will be closed for storm sewer repairs in the roadway.
The repair work on Cleveland Street will take the two eastbound lanes and the inside westbound lane. There will be one lane open for westbound Cleveland Street traffic and no through eastbound traffic between Edgewood and Woodbury Streets. Southbound Longford Avenue traffic will only be permitted to turn right, westbound at Cleveland Street.
Cleveland Street eastbound will be closed at Olive Street with local traffic permitted between Olive and Edgewood Streets. Eastbound Cleveland Street traffic should detour south onto Olive Street to Taylor Street eastbound to Abbe Road northbound.
Traffic should avoid Cleveland Street during these repairs, expect long delays. Cleveland Street will reopen overnight with the work zone covered with steel plates. Alternate routes would be Taylor Street and SR 57 for trucks and cars and Poplar Street for cars.
