Out of town homeowner alerts police to burglary occurring at their home via video surveillance, suspect arrested

SUMMARY:
On March 20, 2018, at approximately 4:38 pm, deputies from the Twin Peaks Station responded to the 1100 Block of N. Hwy 173, in the community Lake Arrowhead, for a residential burglary in progress. The victim was out of town and was able to see the burglary occurring through a live feed from surveillance cameras on the property. The victim gave deputies a description of a woman who was on the balcony attempting to break a window. Deputies arrived within minutes of the call and caught Lisa Scott inside the victim’s home with an armful of the victim’s property. The victim did not know Scott and did not give her permission to be on the property. Scott was arrested and booked at the Central Detention Center, her bail is $75,000.
Deputies believe Lisa Scott may be linked to other burglaries in the Lake Arrowhead area and would like anyone with information to come forward.
