Burglary/Theft of Property Arrests
(Etowah County, Alabama) Two individuals have been arrested in connection to burglary and theft of property, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Christopher Joe Teet, 41, of Gadsden, is charged with two counts of third degree burglary, one count of first degree theft of property and one count of second degree theft of property, all are felonies,” investigator Adam Chapman said. Sarah Mae Burttram, 35, of Collinsville, is charged with one count of third degree burglary and one count of second degree theft of property, both are felonies.
The duo allegedly broke into two residences during 2017, in Etowah County, stealing various items including two firearms. They pawned many of the items at different pawn shops in the area. Evidence found during a search warrant in Dekalb County, by the Collinsville Police Department, led to their arrest.
Teet is being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on $20,000 bond. Burttram is being held on $7,500 bond.
